Yufang Du averaged 4.24 in the second round of Zibo Open 2026 on October 24, tying Yi Shen for fourth in the world in 3x3.
His solves were 4.07, (7.09), (3.86), 4.16 and 4.49. He improved by 0.12 seconds on his previous best of 4.36, which we covered in May.
Du and Shen are now behind just Yiheng Wang (3.51), Xuanyi Geng (3.67) and Yize Dong (4.07) on the WCA’s 3x3 average list.
Du led the second round at Zibo, then finished second in the final with 4.70. Geng won with 4.46, and Dong rounded out the podium with 4.83.
