Tymon Kolasiński Breaks 5x5 World Record Single and Average
33.73 average and historic 29.49 single mark the first sub-30 solve, extending his lead at the top of the event
Tymon Kolasiński has broken both the 5x5 world record single and average at All Rounders Katowice in Poland this weekend, with a 33.73 average and a 29.49 single.
Kolasiński improves on both of his own records. He previously held the average at 34.31 seconds, set in the finals at the 2025 World Championship, and the single from the finals at the 2024 Asian Championship in Malaysia.
The 29.49 is historic. It marks the first ever sub-30 second 5x5 solve in official competition, and gives Kolasiński a lead of over two seconds in the single ahead of Max Park.
