Timofei Tarasenko Sets Megaminx World Record Single
A 21.85 single at Start of Summer Beijing 2026 extends Tarasenko’s lead at the top of Megaminx
Timofei Tarasenko has set a new Megaminx world record single at Start of Summer Beijing 2026 with a time of 21.85 seconds.
Tarasenko improves on his own previous world record of 21.99, set at Tashkent Open 2025. This is his fifth time breaking the Megaminx world record.
He also currently holds the Megaminx world record average at 24.38.
The next fastest Megaminx singles are Alexander Vujcich at 22.32, Ziyu Wu at 22.70, Aidan Grainger at 22.89, and Leandro Martín López at 22.98.
At the same competition, Tarasenko also recorded Russian national records in 5x5, with a 32.78 single and 36.19 average.
