Timofei Tarasenko Moves to WR2 in 5x5 Average
Tarasenko records a 34.55 average and 30.79 single at Bravo BKK Cube Open 2026, moving ahead of Max Park in both 5x5 rankings

Timofei Tarasenko moved to second in the world for 5x5 average at Bravo BKK Cube Open 2026, recording a 34.55 average and setting new Russian national records in both 5x5 average and single.
Tarasenko’s average came from solves of 36.29, (37.91), (30.79), 31.78, and 35.59. The 30.79 solve also set a new Russian national record single.
The result moves Tarasenko ahead of Max Park in both 5x5 single and average. He now ranks second in the world for 5x5 average, behind Tymon Kolasiński’s 33.73 world record average, and second in the world for 5x5 single, behind Kolasiński’s 29.49 world record single.
Kolasiński set both 5x5 world records last weekend at All Rounders Katowice, making Tarasenko the closest challenger in both rankings just one week later.
The performance adds another major big-cube result to Tarasenko’s weekend at Bravo BKK Cube Open 2026, following his European 7x7 mean record at the same competition.
