Teodor Zajder Lowers European Record to 0.93 2x2 Average
The Polish speedcuber shaves another three hundredths off the continental mark with a dominant performance at Cube4fun in Barcin 2026.
Teodor Zajder recorded a 0.93 2x2 average at Cube4fun in Barcin 2026, extending his own European record and becoming the first European competitor to officially average below 0.95 seconds.
Zajder’s final-round solves were (0.74), (1.16), 0.83, 1.15, and 0.82.
The result improves his previous European record of 0.96, which he set earlier this year, by another 0.03 seconds. Zajder continues to push the continental standard lower after previously becoming the first European to average under 0.97.
The victory was never in doubt, as Zajder finished well clear of the field. Szyman Zastawny claimed second place with a 1.79 average, leaving an 0.86-second gap between first and second, an enormous margin at the elite level of 2x2 competition.
The performance further strengthens Zajder’s status as Europe’s premier 2x2 specialist. In addition to owning the European average record, he has previously held the 2x2 world record single with a 0.43 and now continues to rewrite the continent’s record books with yet another historic performance.
