Sujan Feist has tied his own 2x2 world record.
Feist recorded a 0.86 average in the second round at Cubing the Coast MS 2026.
His solves were:
0.85, (2.97), 0.81, 0.91, (0.66)
Feist first set the 0.86 world record at Kids America Christmas Clash OH 2025 in December.
That average came from:
0.86, 1.02, (0.56), (1.42), 0.70
Yiheng Wang is the only other cuber to get within 0.01 of the record. Wang recorded a 0.87 average at Beijing Winter 2026 in January.
Feist’s latest result is also his 17th official sub-1 average. Only seven cubers in WCA history have ever recorded a sub-1 average.
The record adds to a strong run for Feist in 2x2. He won the event at Rubik’s WCA World Championship 2025 with a 1.17 average. He followed that by winning the event at Rubik’s WCA North American Championship 2026 with a 1.31 average.
Now the world record belongs to Feist twice.
0.86 and 0.86.
