Santiago Cabral Sets South American Clock Average Record
Cabral records a 3.07 Clock average at Claret Open Montevideo II 2026, while also lowering Uruguay’s Square-1 national record single.

Santiago Cabral set a new South American Clock average record at Claret Open Montevideo II 2026, recording a 3.07 average in the final.
Cabral’s final-round solves were (2.70), 3.39, 2.93, (4.24), and 2.88. The result improves on his previous South American record average of 3.26, set at Altavista Side Events 2025. Cabral also owns the South American Clock single record with a 2.37 from Nacionales Argentinas 2025.
Cabral also broke Uruguay’s Square-1 national record single at the competition, recording a 6.13 in the final. His previous national record single was 8.94, set earlier this year at Claret Open Montevideo 2026.
The Square-1 final also gave Cabral a 12.33 average, with solves of 12.37, 13.80, (14.90), 10.82, and (6.13).
Cabral is currently Uruguay’s top-ranked solver in Clock and Square-1, while also ranking inside the country’s top five in Skewb, Pyraminx, and 2x2.
