Max Park Sets 7x7 World Record as Kate Grahame Makes Big Cube History at NAC 2026
Park takes the 7x7 title with a 1:30.59 World Record single, while Kate Grahame makes history with the first ever female big cube podium at a National Championship.
Max Park added another major title to his legendary big cube resume at NAC 2026, winning 7x7 with a 1:40.10 mean and a stunning 1:30.59 World Record single.
Park opened with back-to-back 1:44 solves before delivering the solve of the round on his final attempt, a 1:30.59 that reset the World Record and sealed a dominant win.
Henry Lichner finished second with a 1:52.87 mean, continuing an incredible championship run that included three silver medals. After another podium finish, Lichner said he loved the experience and was especially excited to cheer on Kate Grahame.

Grahame finished third with a 1:58.08 mean, making history as the first woman to ever podium in a big cube event at the US National Championships. After the round, she said she had to believe in herself a lot.
The podium came after Grahame had already reset her own 7x7 female records, lowering the mark to a 1:55.54 mean and 1:49.01 single. She said the single had been a major mental barrier, making her podium breakthrough even more meaningful.
Her message after the historic podium was simple: “Yay women!”
