Lim Hung Sets 6x6 World Record Mean
Lim records a 1:04.94 mean at UniKL MIAT Cube Open 2026, moving from eighth to first in the world

Lim Hung set a new 6x6 world record mean at UniKL MIAT Cube Open 2026, recording a 1:04.94 in the second round.
His mean came from solves of 1:08.11, 1:03.68, and 1:03.04.
The result improves on Max Park’s previous world record of 1:05.04, set at Nub Open Trabuco Hills Fall 2025. Before this result, Lim’s personal best mean was 1:09.82, which ranked eighth in the world.
The new record continues a major weekend for Lim, who also set the 7x7 world record single at the same competition with a 1:32.92.
The two records are Lim’s first big-cube world records and the second and third world records of his career, following his 3x3 With Feet average world record.
