Kate Grahame Breaks Her Own 7x7 Female World Records
Grahame lowers both the female world record single and mean, then sets her sights on the NAC 2026 final.

Kate Grahame delivered another historic performance at the 2026 North American Championship, breaking both of her own 7x7 Female World Records with a 1:55.54 mean and a 1:49.01 single during the semifinal round.
The new marks improve on Grahame’s previous records, with the single carrying particular significance. After the round, she said breaking into the 1:49s had been a major mental barrier, noting that her previous female world record single had stood for more than two years.
Despite the record-breaking performance, Grahame believes there is still room for improvement.
“I still think my PRs are very beatable,” she said after the round.
The new records came in a highly competitive semifinal, where Grahame finished third to secure her place in the final. Max Park led the round with a 1:46.20 mean, while Henry Lichner advanced in second with a 1:52.47. Grahame’s 1:55.54 placed her third, followed by Jack Pfeifer in fourth at 1:57.58.
With two new female world records already secured, Grahame now heads into the final aiming for even more. She will have the chance to improve again and contend for the North American Championship podium, with a victory still firmly within reach.
