Ihor Sukhovatenko set new Ukrainian national records in Megaminx single and average at Nagawczyna Side Open 2026, recording a 29.32 single and 32.71 average in the final.
Sukhovatenko’s final-round solves were (29.32), 34.22, 32.04, 31.88, and (36.72). The 29.32 single moves him to 55th in the world and 20th in Europe, while the 32.71 average moves him to 42nd in the world and 15th in Europe.

The result gives Ukraine a stronger position in one of the most internationally spread events near the top of the rankings. The current Megaminx average top 10 includes competitors representing Russia, China, Argentina, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Ireland, Singapore, the United States, and South Korea.
Sukhovatenko won the Megaminx final with the 32.71 average, setting both Ukrainian national records in the same round.
