Caleb Wolf Dunn set a new UK national record in 3x3 average at Weston-super-Mare Spring 2026, recording a 5.44 average in the first round.
Dunn’s average came from solves of 5.92, (4.98), 5.20, 5.19, and (6.00). The result moves him to seventh in Europe and 38th in the world for 3x3 average.
The average is especially notable given Dunn’s 3x3 single personal best of 4.90, meaning his new national record average is only 0.54 seconds slower than his fastest official single. Dunn’s 4.90 single ranks seventh in the United Kingdom.
Dunn also holds UK national records in Clock, with a 2.00 single from Wiltshire Winter 2025 and a 2.68 average from the 2025 World Championship. At Worlds, the 2.68 average won the first round and set the UK record, but he finished 21st in the second round and missed the final.
Dunn was also the 2025 UK national champion in Clock and finished second in Pyraminx at the 2024 UK Championship.
